FULL FACE OF CHARLOTTE TILBURY

Self proclaimed bargain shopper here! I’m was excited to splurge a little and try on the make- up from Charlotte Tilbury. I went all in! I bought as much as I could wedge between my body and my toddler sized hands. I must admit, I already tried a few of her products in my last make-up video, and couldn’t wait to try more of her line. Imagine my excitement when I learned they are manufactured in Italy! I can almost hear my Italian ancestors cheering me on as I open each product. Not, really… but I’d like to think so. First, the flawless filter foundation went on with a lovely dewy glow. At first it seemed a bit shiny, but I’m attributing that to the moisturizer I generously applied moments before. Once I blended it in, I was loving how my skin looked. Usually I would use a little concealer, but didn’t find her concealer in my hasty shopping spree, until after shooting this video. I actually found one and love it. Next up was the bronzer! Again, we Italians are all about the bronzer. Pasta, gelato, and bronzer…in that order. I noticed the bronzer blended in beautifully with the flawless filter foundation. Definitely a good combo for full face coverage. The eye brow pencil worked great for filling in my eyebrows, but didn’t necessarily lift or hold them in the direction they were brushed. The “queen of glow” palate is next. It has four separate colors for 4 separate functions. Prime, enhance, smoke, and pop! I’ll take all four please! This palate comes with instructions which is new and fun for me. I just followed the instructions and went in order with each color, which was refreshing because I’ve never been super confident in my eyeshadow application prowess. I absolutely loved the gold color, which was step number 2, “enhance.” I have multiple pallets that I love love, and I’m adding this little quad of colors to my “oh yeah” list. One of my favorite steps in make-up is the lips. Bring on all the colors of the rainbow. I have previously used (and loved) my pillow talk color, but decided to go with the color “iconic nude.” The lip cheat lip liner is just great. I went a little overboard, but sometimes you just gotta go for it with the liner to get the lips don’t lie look. Speaking of going for it, I decided to try the “walk of no shame” eye shadow as a blush! I know I know, take my brushes away already. I’m pleasantly pleased with the no shame color on my cheeks. It totally worked! I have zero shame! Now, can I apply this same sentiment to my pantry shelf full of Nutella? Ok, thanks. Lastly, and sadly I wasn’t in love with the mascara. The wand was the kind that doesn’t agree with my lashes. We almost had a home run. Luckily what the mascara lacked, the rest of the products definitely made up for it. To re cap, yes to everything and if you are going to go all in, make sure to get a few lipstick colors to round things out. So Bravo Charlotte, complimenti per il lavoro svolto! (See Italian to English Translation. Hahaha.) I love your line and your clever names for the colors.
