“In these days of worldly intrusions into our lives, when trials and difficulties may seem to engulf us, let us remember our own special spiritual experiences. These building blocks of faith will bring us conviction and reassurance of a caring, loving Father in Heaven, of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and of Their restored true and living Church.” Loving this book called, “Led by Divine Design,” by @ronaldarasband.♥️
Have you had any special spiritual experiences that you may have forgotten about, that could help you with what you are facing right now? I think of the scripture that tells us to, “Remember, remember!”
Have you ever had somebody that you know question or doubt their own faith and had it rattle you? I have. I don’t believe there’s anything wrong with going through an experience like that, but I decided I wanted to be sure I know for myself and be convicted enough in my personal testimony to be unshaken, (while still maintaining LOVE and RESPECT for others and their choices for what is best for them at that time!💕) By doing the work, we give ourselves the power to let others make choices and not have it affect us and our choices and feelings as deeply. We build up a personal reservoir of spiritual experiences to draw from, where we are believing because we actually believe, and not because we are “blindly following” the world, a person, or a Church. But it’s just that: PERSONAL! Our relationship with The Savior is a personal one. For me, I have learned that it takes personal experiences, which take work and action. I believe that the building blocks of faith which he refers to, truly are the small and simple components to a testimony! It’s not always a big lightbulb moment. I believe in the power of asking questions, growing a relationship with The Lord, and gaining answers for ourselves!
