My Hot Honey, Ginger, and Turmeric Water Recipe

I came down with a darn summer cold this week, so I thought I’d share one of my favorite warm drinks to help ease a sore throat. You can find more of my recipes in my cookbooks! This one is from, “Grounded Holidays”, which is also great year-round!

HOT HONEY, GINGER, AND TURMERIC WATER

Prep time: 5 Minutes

Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS:

16 ounces still water

1 teaspoon ginger, finely ground

1 teaspoon turmeric

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon lemon juice

METHOD

Combine all ingredients to hot water and stir. Add more honey to taste, if desired.
